This is our B moment. Our moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
Scripture reference: Matthew 25:29 (NLT)
B Moment listeners, we’re not back in the studio just yet as I’m still in New York.
Today, I’m thinking about how God can turn your little into more. Yesterday, we talked about the graduation season and how, looking back on certain parts of our journey, we can claim that every step was worth it.
When I think more about it, graduation is about ending one season and starting a new one. Starting something new means we begin at an entry level where our earnings may be very little.
However, if we follow the teachings of Jesus, he shows us how to turn our little into more. He explained that there was a man going on a long trip, so he called his servants together. Giving one of his servants five bags of gold, the man told him to invest it for him while he was gone.
After he left, the servant was actually able to double the man’s initial investment of five bags of gold, so that when the man returned, there were ten bags of gold. Joyfully, he praised the faithful servant for a job well done. Additionally, because the servant had been trustworthy with the small amount, the man decided to begin giving him more responsibilities.
At the same time, the man had also given one bag of gold to another servant. Instead of investing it though, the servant buried it and did not produce any profit. That servant did not earn the man’s trust and instead, lost responsibilities.
The key is to embrace where you are and excel in your tasks, knowing that God is watching. Once you’ve mastered that entry level, He will surely open the doors to more.
The next time you need to be encouraged about your little turning to more, remember these words: “To those who use well what they are given, even more will be given, and they will have abundance. But from those who do nothing, even what little they have will be taken away.” Matthew 25:29 (NLT)
Please share this reflection as others desire to be inspired.
So today, invest well and be confident that your “more” is on the way.

Amen! Blessed with more once we’ve shown good on our less xo
