This is our B moment. Our moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
Scripture reference: Romans 8:28 (NIV)
Each morning this week I’ve tried to return to the regular tone of a B Moment which includes a Scriptural lesson, or some spiritual revelation that I’ve recently experienced.
However, I find, that I cannot let go of this current national dialogue about our country’s racial divide.
This conversation for the last several days has been heavy on my heart, and I will always share what’s on my heart.
At first, I questioned myself as to whether I was neglecting the Scriptures since I have been so engaged in this national discussion. But then I reasoned, what good is it to study the Word if we cannot put it into action?
As a result of this heated debate and sometimes dismal outlook, this morning I am reflecting on how all things work together for the good of the Lord.
Sometimes it’s difficult to comprehend how any good could come from a set of tragic events. Especially, when precious lives are lost. How can we find the good in this?
This is when there’s an opportunity to lift our heads from studying the Word to practicing It, and to being lifted by It. It is possible to see God’s Hand move…even over tragedy when our relationship with Him is deeper.
I am warmly encouraged by the Words – “…weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.” Psalm 30:5 (KJV)
These Words also inspire me, “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28 (NIV)
Share this B Moment because I know, during these times, others need to be inspired.
