After working in Corporate America for 15 years, Suzette Webb is now an established entrepreneur and
author. In 2006, she founded Light of Mine (“LOM”), a company that designs and manufactures high-performance lighting systems for military armored vehicles. The opportunity to support our military men and women has been an honor for her both professionally and personally. Prior to founding LOM, she authored her first book, Moments of Truth, a book of spiritual affirmations for everyday living. Her second book, Blues to Blessings: from Fearful to Faithful, a spiritual memoir which chronicles her step-by-step journey towards transformation and success. It is also an interactive spiritual odyssey for her readers.
She also hosts a devotional podcast called the “B Moments” which airs daily on Moody’s Christian radio station. This unique devotional allows time-crunched people to pause, reflect on their faith, and set positive intentions for their day. The name “B Moments” reminds listeners that it is a moment to “Be still….to Be fed by the Word of God, and to Be grateful.”
Webb holds a MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University, and a bachelor’s degree in communications from Loyola University, New Orleans. She serves on the Board of Directors for International Teams, and is a member of Chicago Women in Publishing (CWIP). She is also currently serving a 5th term on the Local School Council for Whitney M. Young Magnet High School in Chicago. Webb and her husband live in Chicago, and are the proud parents of three sons.
