This is our B moment. Our moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
Scripture reference: Proverbs 17:22 (NLT)
I recently had my dear friend Marcus remind me of the importance of a good laugh.
Looking back on the B Moment catalog of late, there’s a trend of serious topics and reflections. While we’ve had tragedies both at home and abroad that were necessary to address, I’ve learned that it is also important to make time for laughter.
Recently, I talked about my girlfriend from high school who makes me laugh to the point where it feels like my soul is laughing. I have come to appreciate that laughter will reset the energy in the room, and even in our thoughts.
Therefore, our homework for today is to find something to laugh about. Even if it’s a silly blunder, we should try to find the humor in it and treat ourselves to a good laugh.
Solomon teaches us about the importance of a cheerful heart. In fact, I use his words to inspire me, “A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength.” Proverbs 17:22 (NLT)
Tomorrow, let’s talk about our love. Share this B Moment as others desire to be inspired.
So today, don’t let your strength be sapped. Take some good medicine, and have a good laugh.
