This is our B moment. Our moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
Scripture reference: Galatians 6:9 (NIV)
This morning, I am seeing light in my tunnel. If you’ve been listening to B Moments for a while, you’ve likely heard me talk about waiting on a new door to open.
Waiting faithfully on this new door to open hasn’t always been easy. Sometimes, my attitude was simply –“I want what I want when I want it.”
Shortly after experiencing a blow of disappointment, I knew that it was time to reach for my “resiliency” hat again. In other words, I had to keep believing that things were happening behind the scenes, and on a grander scale even when it seemed like nothing was happening at all. I had to be patient and trust God’s Timing, and lean less on my own understanding of things.
I can recall one day when I just lost it, and I ended up pouring my heart out to a girlfriend. This was during a time when it seemed as though nothing was moving – neither behind the scenes, or in front of them!
Today, I am here to report that if it seems like it’s dark in your tunnel, hang in there. Your tunnel will turn a corner and when it does, you will see light. Your focus is not to give up. Keep your resiliency hat on. It works! There will be light in your tunnel.
The Words that remind me of this are, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” Galatians 6:9 (NIV)
Tomorrow, let’s talk about using our words as seeds. Please share this reflection, because others desire to be inspired.
So today, be encouraged that there is light in your tunnel.
