Scripture reference: Psalm 28:7 (ESV)
Transcription:
Today I am encouraging you to avoid partially turning your situation over to God. Instead, turn it all over to Him and you’ll be all the better for it!
This is exactly what the Israelites did when they observed the Sabbath of the seventh year by not farming their land. They literally walked by their own land every day for an entire year and resisted the urge to farm it, putting all their faith in God to provide for them.
Here’s what’s significant. Farming their land was how the Israelites ate each day as well as how they provided for their families.
Here’s the good news – God allowed the Israelites’ land to produce two to three times more in that seventh year than it did any of the other years when their land was actually being farmed by them.
What situation have you partially turned over to God, but now need to turn completely over to Him?
As you think about that, remember these words: “The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him, my heart trusts, and I am helped.” Psalm 28:7 (ESV)
This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
