The Part of Faith We Rarely Talk About
Scripture references: Lamentations 3:22 (ESV) There’s something sacred about beginning again — a new year, a new project, a new dream. In those moments, we often tell God, “I’ll work hard. I’ll use the gifts You gave me. I won’t be careless with what You’ve entrusted to me.” And while that desire is good, I’m learning that acknowledging God’s involvement is not the same as depending on Him. From childhood, we’re taught to stand on our own two feet. Independence is praised. Dependence is questioned. But with God, it’s reversed.
