Scripture reference: Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV)
Today I want you to know about the cost of a divided heart.
Your heart becomes divided when you seek God’s will one day and yours the next. This is exactly how Solomon began to live his life.
Solomon had an insatiable desire for wealth and material possessions as he needed just one more wife, just one more chariot. This led him to have 700 wives and 1,400 chariots.
Solomon’s downward spiral began when he allowed the influences of this world to pull him further and further away from God such as marrying foreign women. God warned Solomon about this because these women worshiped other gods.
Initially, he built little shrines for his wives to worship their gods. Yet before long, his heart became divided as he worshiped his heavenly Father one day and the earthly gods the next.
Are you doing what God asked you to do one day and doing what you desire the next? If so, remember these words: “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV)
This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.

My Dear Suzette,
Thank you for directing me to the words of Proverb 3:5-6. Just today, I had lunch with this bother who just happens to be a Morehouse man, by the name of Robert Ike, and I was sharing some similar thoughts with him.
I send my brotherly Love Suzette
