Meet Suzette
author, speaker, mompreneur
An accomplished entrepreneur and inspirational author, Suzette Webb left the comforts of her corporate job for her miracle nearly twenty years ago and hasn’t looked back.
She founded Light of Mine (“LOM”) in 2006, a company that designs and manufactures high-performance lighting systems for military armored vehicles, and she writes to inspire her readers to reconnect with themselves and God. She describes herself as “in the business of lighting and enlightenment.”
In her second book, Blues to Blessings: Moving from Fearful to Faithful — now an author-narrated audiobook — Suzette guides reader-listeners through her own journey from frustration and uncertainty to personal transformation and fulfillment. She recounts her journey in four transformational phases: from Awareness to Preparation, through Transformation and Service. Each phase unfolds a new cluster of feelings, behaviors, and challenges in her quest to realize her true purpose and a fulfilled life.
Building on her 4-phase framework, Suzette launched her PATH Method, an online course for the Stuck, the Searching, and the Spiritually Exhausted.
She will also take her new material to the stage as she challenges and energizes participants to move from fearfulness toward faith and experience a sense of freedom as they pursue their life’s next chapter. Suzette encourages all participants to take her brief Faith Challenge to assess where they are.
Suzette is also a sought-after speaker and emerging media figure. She hosts the daily devotional podcast B Moments (for Moody Radio’s Urban Praise), as well as the syndicated weekly vlog U-Turn (for multimedia portal Detour), showcasing Black travel. And on Milwaukee WTMJ-TV’s Morning Blend talk show, Suzette appears as a frequent guest contributor.
Suzette holds an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, Northwestern University. She and her husband have three sons and live in Chicago.
