Scripture references: Psalm 91:1
There’s something about the final stretch of a meaningful project that can feel heavier than the beginning. Recently, I found myself staring at a long to-do list—overwhelmed, scattered, and unsure how I’d finish what I’d started. I tried to push through, strategize, and plan my way forward. But God had a different invitation.
As I opened my Bible, a small piece of paper fell out—a devotion my mother had given me years ago. It read: “…relax, pray, meditate, and dwell in the silence… [now] arise and go boldly forth to pursue the dream that God placed in your heart.” It was no coincidence. It was a reminder: peace, clarity, and direction come from being—not more doing. In the home stretch, rest is not a detour. It is the way forward.
As you reflect on that, remember these words: “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalm 91:1
This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.

So today, rest and renew.
Amen! What a timely reminder as we get caught up with our work and forget to focus on just “being with the Lord!”
Yes, isn’t it so true, Christy?! And no matter how busy we get, He’s constantly inviting us to rest in Him. Blessings, my friend.
