Escorted to the Fire, Met by God

Scripture references: Isaiah 43:2-3 (ESV)

Sometimes life turns up the heat. The pressure intensifies, the stakes rise, and the situation feels too hot to handle. Just like the furnace that was heated seven times for Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego—so hot that the man who escorted them in didn’t survive. But when the king looked inside, he didn’t see three scorched figures. He saw four bodies walking – emphasis on the word walking.

God wasn’t watching from a distance. He was in the fire, walking with them.

So if your situation feels like it’s escalating, if the heat is unbearable, remember this: God is not on the sidelines. He is walking your walk. Right there in the middle of it. Unshaken. Unmoved. With you.

As you reflect on that, remember these words: “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you…When you walk through the fire you shall not be burned…For I am the Lord your God…”  Isaiah 43:2-3 (ESV)

This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
