Sometimes it feels like nothing is shifting — until suddenly, everything does. Just ask Joseph. After twelve long years in prison for a crime he didn’t commit, his breakthrough came in a single day.
One moment, he was overlooked – and, the next, he was summoned to interpret Pharaoh’s dream — and by evening, he was second in command over all of Egypt.
Joseph didn’t even need to rebuild his reputation. God had already positioned him. The delay wasn’t punishment; it was preparation.
So if you’re weary, remember two key points: first, God doesn’t need a long runway to launch your breakthrough – just one appointed moment and, second, your “suddenly” may be closer than you think. God is never bound by time — and He is always faithful.
As you reflect on that, remember these words: “…with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” 2 Peter 3:8 (ESV)
