Scripture references: 1 Corinthians 2:9 (ESV)
Sometimes you pray with a very clear picture of what the answer should look like. In your mind, it’s simple — either God does it, or He doesn’t. No gray area. No mystery. Just a yes or a no.
But God rarely works inside the narrow frame we create.
Mary felt that way when she sent for Jesus to heal her brother. She could only imagine one outcome: Lazarus healed before death. She had no idea Jesus was preparing something far greater — not just healing, but resurrection. Not just relief, but revelation. In one moment, she moved from knowing Him as Healer to seeing Him as the Resurrection and the Life.
Your prayers may feel one-dimensional, but God’s answers never are. He is working in layers you can’t see yet, preparing something that reaches deeper and blesses more than you asked for.
As you reflect on that, remember these words — “What no eye has seen…nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9 (ESV)
This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
