Scripture references: Romans 15:13 (ESV)
There are moments in life when you’re doing everything you know to do — praying, trusting, waiting — and yet the situation only seems to grow heavier. You look for signs of movement, but all you see is stillness. You ask for clarity, but the path only feels more confusing.
Mary and Martha lived through a moment like this. They reached out to Jesus with urgency, believing He would come quickly. Instead, the unthinkable happened: Lazarus died, and the ache of disappointment must have felt unbearable.
What they couldn’t see was the quiet weaving of a story that would deepen their faith forever. Because sometimes, in the very places that look still, God is doing His most transformative work.
If you’re in a season where nothing makes sense, hold on. Your story is still being written — and hope is already on its way.
As you reflect on that, remember these words: “May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing…” Romans 15:13 (ESV)
This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
