Scripture references: 2 Tim. 1:7 (ESV)
There are seasons when you know God has spoken a promise over your life… yet you’re still standing somewhere between “what He said” and “what you see.” That in-between place can stir up doubt and insecurity.
But this is exactly where a child-like faith becomes powerful. Not naïve, not uninformed — but pure, uncluttered trust. The kind of faith that believes God simply because He is God. After all we’ve lived through — disappointment, injustice, unanswered questions — choosing that kind of faith is one of the boldest things we can do.
And on this Pentecost Sunday, we remember why boldness is even possible. The Holy Spirit didn’t come so we could celebrate Easter once a year — He came so resurrection power could shape our everyday lives, even when we’re not there yet.
As you reflect on this, remember these words: “for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” 2 Tim. 1:7 (ESV)
This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
