A Cheerful Expectancy Through Faith

Scripture references: Ephesians 3:20 (ESV)

Sometimes a powerful shift in your spiritual life happens in a single moment — the moment you decide not to give fear any more oxygen. Maybe you’ve been replaying the same worries, wondering if your efforts will ever bear fruit. I understand that place. Recently, while journaling, I started to write, “Father, after multiple attempts, I fear…” But before the sentence could land, something in my spirit rose up. Why would I write a word God never assigned to me?

Instead, I wrote, “After multiple attempts, I will succeed beyond my expectations.” And as the ink dried, my faith deepened. A cheerful expectancy — not rooted in what I see, but in what God is shaping within me.

You can choose that same expectancy, trusting that God is already working far beyond what you imagine.

As you reflect on this, remember these words: “Now all glory to God, who is able…to work within us…to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” Ephesians 3:20 (ESV)

This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
