Scripture references: Psalm 18:30
Have you ever taken matters into your own hands—not out of pride, but out of fear of being exposed? Maybe you’ve thought, “I’ll handle it, just in case they don’t come through.” Especially when your reputation is on the line, self-protection can feel like wisdom.
But sometimes, we carry that same mindset into our relationship with God. We pray, but then we scramble to fix things ourselves. We trust, but only halfway. Deep down, we wonder: What if I truly let go and God doesn’t come through?
King David wrestled with his own failures, yet he still declared God as his refuge. He didn’t rely on his record—he relied on God’s character. And God covered him.
You are not left exposed. You are shielded by grace. You are held by a faithful God who sees your heart and honors your trust.
As you reflect on that, remember these words: “…he is a shield for all who take refuge in Him.” Psalm 18:30
This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
