Scripture references: Psalm 34:17
Some seasons feel like fire—intense, consuming, and hard to understand. But God doesn’t waste the heat. Just ask Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. They were thrown into the fiery furnace for refusing to worship the king’s gold image, yet emerged untouched. Their clothes were not burned. Their hair was not singed. Not even the scent of smoke on them.
God may allow you to walk through flames, but it’s never without purpose. He’s refining your faith, deepening your trust, and drawing you closer to Him.
I recently saw a woman who’d been through a difficult season. Her pain was visible. And while we don’t always come out looking untouched, we can come out spiritually stronger, emotionally steadier, and more anchored in God’s love.
You may not feel radiant right now, but God is restoring you in ways that will soon be undeniable.
As you reflect on that, remember these words: “When the righteous cry for help, the Lord hears and delivers them out of all their troubles.” Psalm 34:17
