Scripture reference: 2 Corinthians 4:18
God’s promises are not bound by what you see today. When the path ahead appears unclear, it’s easy to put your attention and energy on what’s right in front of you—on the delays and the disappointments. But God’s promises are eternal, unwavering, and often unfolding in ways that will defy your own logic.
Mary was called “favored” by God, yet her journey led to a stable, not a palace. Her son, the Son of the Most High, was laid in a manger. In that moment, her reality didn’t match the promise—but the promise still stood.
So if your heart feels weary or your faith feels thin, lift your eyes. God’s Word is not a fleeting whisper—it’s a steady truth. Let it anchor you beyond the noise of now.
As you reflect on that, remember these words: “So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary but what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Corinthians 4:18
