Scripture references: Psalm 86:11
There’s a quiet tug many of us feel—the tension between hustle and holy presence. We rush from one task to the next, often with noble intentions, yet our souls whisper for something deeper. We long to feel centered, restored, and connected to something greater than our to-do list.
Jesus saw this struggle in Martha. Her hands were full, but her heart was restless. Meanwhile, Mary chose stillness—she sat at His feet, soaking in presence over productivity. Jesus gently reminded Martha: “You are anxious and troubled… but one thing is necessary.” (Luke 10:38-42)
God is not measuring your worth by your output. He’s inviting you to rest, to be refueled in His presence. In that sacred space, you’re not just pausing—His Light is at work within you. Let go of the nervous energy. Trust that God holds all outcomes. Choose the better portion today.
As you reflect on that, remember these words: “Teach me your way, Lord, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart…” Psalm 86:11
This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
