Letting Go of the “Just in Case” Life

Scripture references: Luke 22:35

There’s a quiet freedom that comes when you stop carrying what God never asked you to hold. When Jesus sent His disciples out with no purse, no bag, no backup plan, He wasn’t being harsh — He was inviting them into a life anchored in trust rather than fear. A life where provision meets you on the way, not before you start.

As the spring travel season approaches, it’s easy to pack our minds and hearts with “just in case” worries — extra tasks, extra pressure, extra expectations. But Jesus gently calls you to travel lighter. To release the weight of what‑ifs and rest in the truth that your Father already knows what you need.

When you loosen your grip, you make room for joy. For presence. For the quiet assurance that you will not lack.

As you reflect on that, remember these words — “When I sent you without purse, bag or sandals, did you lack anything?”Luke 22:35

This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
