Scripture references: Luke 15:3-5 (ESV)
We all know the ache of losing something precious. Recently, I misplaced one of my earrings. Though I own many pairs, I searched intently for that one. This reminded me of the parables – the wandering sheep and the lost coin. Both speak of a love that refuses to give up.
This season, I rejoice in the truth that Christ does the same for us. When we are weary, distracted, or turned around, He never abandons. Instead, He seeks us diligently, and when He finds us, He lifts us tenderly onto His shoulders – where we are carried not in shame, but in joy.
Christmas is more than lights and gifts—it is the celebration of a Savior who comes after us, again and again, until we are safely home.
As you reflect on that, remember these words — “What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he…lost one…does not leave the ninety-nine and go after it…And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing.” Luke 15:3-5 (ESV)
This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
