God’s Power, Your Platform

Scripture reference: Philippians 2:13 (ESV)

Today, I want you to know you are a showcase for God’s power.

There are times when God blesses you under the most extraordinary circumstances so that you might be a showcase for His power.

When I turn to the Scriptures, I think about Nehemiah’s story who was called to rebuild two miles of Jerusalem’s broken walls.

Nehemiah experienced opposition on every level. Some government officials stonewalled him because they disagreed with him politically and didn’t want to see him achieve his goals.  He also experienced construction delays, zoning issues and there was even infighting among his team.

Yet with all of that opposition, he rebuilt those two miles of walls in only 52 days.

Therefore, when you experience opposition, embrace it, knowing that God is simply using you as a showcase for His greater plans.

As you think about that, remember these words:  “For it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.” Philippians 2:13 (ESV)
