Scripture reference: Psalm 34:5
Transcription:
Even with the best intentions, it’s easy to let life’s demands distract us from God. The Israelites struggled with this as they journeyed to Jerusalem for Passover. Despite being surrounded by opportunities for worship, their hearts were consumed with worries such as whether they had enough money or if their animal sacrifice would meet the strict requirements.
Their intentions were pure, but their focus was on their struggles rather than their Savior. How often do we do the same? Just the other week, a dear friend told me how she felt 2025 was off to a pretty rocky start. I’ve been there before, so I could definitely relate.
Caught up in life’s chaos, we fixate on problems instead of looking to the One who has the answers.
This Holy Week, let’s commit to redirecting our focus. Instead of magnifying your challenges, magnify Christ.
And, as you do so, hold onto this promise: “Those who look to Him are radiant, and their faces shall never be ashamed.” Psalm 34:5
This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
