This is our B moment. Our moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
Scripture reference: Habukkuk 2:3 (ESV)
Today I am thinking about how all of a sudden things can finally happen.
I was watching the news the other day, and there was a man being featured whose Facebook post had gone viral. This man had been writing for some time about the social injustices in our country, and how he believes there are real workable solutions.
Typically, his posts will only get a handful of likes and comments. However, on this particular day, all of a sudden, his latest Facebook post goes viral. It gets tens of thousands of likes, shares and certainly far more than a handful of comments! All of a sudden, his positive ideas were aired nationally.
On another note, earlier this week I talked about Joseph being imprisoned for more than twelve years. I told how in the morning he started out in a prison cell but by evening he had moved to the palace, never again to return to prison.
So, it can happen and sometimes when it does – it’s all of a sudden.
My biggest issue has been not knowing “when” things will happen. What I have learned is that if I can just be Suzette, and remain obedient to who God has called me to be, I can leave “when” things will happen to Him.
The Words I will use to inspire me are,
“For still the vision awaits its appointed time;
it hastens to the end—it will not lie.
If it seems slow, wait for it;
it will surely come; it will not delay.”
Habukkuk 2:3 (ESV)
Share this reflection with others, as they also desire to be inspired.
So today, remember, it can happen – all of a sudden.
