This is our B moment. Our moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
Scripture reference: Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV)
Today I am reminding myself that when things may seem out of order they are actually in Divine order.
In 2 Samuel Chapter 7, God made two promises to David. The first promise was that David would be given the throne. The second promise was that David would have an everlasting family line.
It wasn’t so easy however. David wasn’t crowned king for thirteen years, despite being named king. And his family, promised him by God to be everlasting, dwindled in numbers to a single direct descendant on more than one occasion.
David’s life is a great example and encouragement that God honors His word, despite outward appearances.
Personally, there are two types of situations that would always rattle me. The first is when things would get down to the wire, like David’s family dwindling to only one family member. I would also get frustrated if something didn’t materialize when I thought it would.
David’s life shows us that even though things may seem delayed or out of order they are always in Divine order. There is no need to fret.
The Words that I use to remind me of this are, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV)
Please share this reflection with others as they also desire to be inspired.
So today, look at what appears out of order and know that it is in Divine order.

Great B Moment! I love to see the fruits of my labor IMMEDIATELY! But, God knows. I realize I’m always in constant movement, so the natural order of life seems much slower than the speed I’m moving. Yet, in two years I’ve accomplished SOO much! Thank you for this reminder Suzette! Always on time xo

Thanks for sharing! I can relate all too much about expecting IMMEDIATE results, but we learn from experience that God’s thoughts are not our thoughts, and not our ways, etc. He is working things out, but in His Way and, of course, in His Time. Thanks for the reminder to take time to acknowledge our hard work too! Love & Light Always
