Blindsided…Again

By: Suzette | Published on: Apr 22, 2026 | Categories: Uncategorized | 0 Comments

Scripture references: 2 Corinthians 5:7 (ESV)

Webster defines “blindsided” as being “surprised unpleasantly,” and many of us know that feeling all too well. One moment you’re standing tall, hopeful about a long‑awaited season, and the next, something hits you so hard it knocks the wind out of you. And often, when we get back up, we don’t rise the same way. We stand guarded. We whisper, “Never again.”

But even in those moments, God offers a path forward.

First, trust even more in the unseen. The only way out of what you couldn’t see coming is to lean into the God who sees everything.

Second, guard your heart. Not with walls, but with wisdom — processing the pain so it doesn’t poison your spirit.

Third, keep pressing. You were born for this moment, and God promises a harvest for those who don’t give up.

Even when you’re blindsided, He is with you.

As you reflect on that, remember these words: “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” 2 Corinthians 5:7 (ESV)

This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
