This is your B moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.

Today, I want you to know how to handle your poor connection.
There are times when you can feel really connected to God. I must confess that feels odd saying because we know that wherever you are – God is. But in this instance…humor me — let’s say you seek an answer and are given one. Or your steps were ordered in a specific direction and you knew it was God and only God who led you.
Conversely, there are those times when you don’t feel so connected and you don’t have a lot of clarity. Recently, this was my experience.
My communication with God seemed unclear. It was the equivalent of a bad phone connection – the ones that fade in and out and you don’t have a coherent sense of what’s being said.
In the natural world, I would end the call…move to another spot and call the person back. In fact, I’d call back with a high degree of certainty that I would have a better connection.
Sometimes we have to do the same with God. Change your setting. Move to a quieter place… a place where it’s just you and Him, and the outside world is tuned out.
Try Him again. I assure you, you’ll hear much more than you were expecting. I simply changed my setting to one that allowed me to draw closer to Him, and I got a very comforting earful.
Is your connection poor today? If so, remember these words:
“Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.” Jeremiah 33:3 (ESV)
