Scripture reference: Matthew 6:6
Transcription:
Sometimes, in our excitement about positive changes and miracles, we feel an urge to share them with the world. However, there are moments when God calls us to keep these experiences close to our hearts and nurture them in solitude.
The great prophet Elisha reminds us of this truth when he instructs the widow to shut the door behind herself. As she pours oil into one vessel after another, she witnesses her small amount of oil multiplying.
Her private act of faith symbolizes her trust in God’s provision, and each full vessel she sets aside represents a continuous flow of God’s blessings.
In the stillness, we find strength, and in the privacy of our hearts, we witness the miracles of God’s love.
As you reflect on that, remember these words – “But when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.” – Matthew 6:6
This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
