Scripture reference: Philippians 1:6 (NLT)

Let’s take a moment to reflect on what we understand God’s standard to be.
We often confuse the standard we set for ourselves with the standard God holds us to. Often, they couldn’t be further apart.
1st Chronicles is a book mainly about the life of King David. It makes no reference to David committing adultery, arranging the death of another man, nor his shortcomings as a father. Instead, it focuses more on David’s heart for God and his worship of Him than on his wrongdoings.
God knew before David was born that there would be areas in his life where he would fail greatly. Yet, He never denied him his life’s purpose. Do you ever silently chronicle your own life – highlighting past mistakes, and allow those images to hold you back from going after all God has planned for you?
As you think about that, remember these words:
“…God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished…” Philippians 1:6 (NLT)
This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
