Scripture reference: 1 John 4:4
Transcription:
Do you sometimes discount what you have to offer?
When you discount yourself, you’re also discounting the presence of God in your life.
When I turn to the Scriptures, I see that the same is true for Gideon, who was chosen by God to defeat the Midianites.
Although Gideon would be victorious in the end, his truest battle was within. His family was considered the least among all of the tribes, and he was considered the least among his family members.
This mindset of not being good enough caused Gideon to constantly discount what he had to offer.
God is not expecting you to handle His assignments perfectly. Instead, he’d rather you step into your assignment, trusting that He is working alongside you.
Have you been discounting your value and not factoring in that God is right there with you? If so, remember these words: “…for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.” 1 John 4:4
This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
