This is our B moment. Our moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.

Today I am out of the studio, but I am still encouraging you that even in a transition, God is preparing you.
Given how the pandemic has significantly impacted employment, many are unsure about where they will land professionally. Being in transition can seem somewhat unsettling because you feel uncertain, less in control, and you usually end up having to explain your circumstances more.
This reminds me of an event I attended a few years ago where a lady was, rather awkwardly, explaining her career transition. She had lost her corporate job due to a merger, and she had made a conscious decision not to pursue another corporate job because she felt that God was leading her on a new path. In the interim, she was doing temporary work.
I could relate to this woman’s every word, even the awkwardness in her delivery, because she was telling my story. I have learned to embrace transition because it is that place where humility and surrender intersect. Even when it appears things are at a standstill and nothing is opening up, God is subtly preparing you for His next assignment.
This was precisely the case for King David as he spent years in transition before he was officially crowned king. The key is remaining faithful, even when you can’t see all of the ways God is preparing you.
