This is your B moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
Scripture reference: Galatians 6:8-9 (NLT)

Today I am encouraging you if you feel like you’re experiencing more of the same.
We are continuing our series on how we should wait on God, and sometimes you may just want to know when it will be your time. When I turn to the Scriptures, I think of David’s life and all he had to endure between the time he was anointed king and when he was actually appointed king.
There are times when you may hit a certain milestone and believe you’ve turned a new corner, only to be confronted with more of the same. It is very likely that David felt this same way after he graduated from the shepherd’s field to defeating Goliath.
Soon after that victory, David had to deal with a jealous Saul, who kept him on the run in fear of his life for years. Once Saul was killed, David must have believed it was finally his time. But soon thereafter he experienced more of the same with Saul’s sons who felt they were entitled to the throne. David entered into a bloody battle with them for another seven years.
In the end, at God’s appointed time, David did take the throne. Yet more importantly, he never tried to take matters into his own hands while he was enduring more of the same.
If you’re in an unjust situation and can’t wait for it to end, remember these words:
“Those who live to please the Spirit will harvest everlasting life from the Spirit. So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.” Galatians 6:8-9 (NLT)
