Scripture reference: 2 Corinthians 1:20
Transcription:
Lent is the perfect season to remind ourselves that God’s promises are not distant hopes. Instead, they are fulfilled realities.
In Isaiah 61:1-3, the prophet shares an extraordinary vision: the Messiah will bring good news to the poor, bind up the brokenhearted, and proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor. This prophecy paints a picture of a brand new era of blessings.
Fast-forward to Luke 4:21, when Jesus stands in the synagogue, reads from the Book of Isaiah, and boldly declares, “This Scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing.”
Here, we see Isaiah’s prophecy come true. Even when the road seems long or uncertain, trust that God’s promises will always become a reality.
Stay your course, knowing His plan will come full circle, leading you to the blessings He has prepared.
As you think about that, remember these words: “For all the promises of God find their Yes in him…” 2 Corinthians 1:20.
This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
