Scripture reference: Psalm 37:1-3
Transcription:
Lately, you may have heard the term “flood the zone.” It’s a tactic designed to stoke fear and anxiety by flooding the airwaves with controversial policies, making it difficult to respond to them all at once. Before you can digest one policy change, you’re hit with another.
However, as followers of Christ, we have a different approach to maintaining our peace and clarity.
The Apostle Paul offers a profound strategy in Philippians 4:6-8, guiding us to focus on things that are true, honorable, and worthy of praise. By flooding our mental and physical zones with these positive attributes, we allow “the peace of God to guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”
By choosing “to live in this world but not of it” (John 17:16), you can remain steadfast on your journey and filled with a peace that surpasses all understanding.
As you think about that, remember these words: “Fret not yourself because of evildoers…for they will soon fade like the grass and wither like the green herb. Trust in the Lord… do good…and befriend faithfulness.” Psalm 37:1-3
This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
