Scripture reference: Proverbs 19:21 (ESV)

Transcription:

Today I want you to know that God is always up to something greater.

This was surely the case with Stephen from the book of Acts.

Stephen stood before several Jewish leaders and gave a pretty lengthy address about the presence and glory of God dating all the way back to the days of Abraham and Moses. But as he began to speak more truth to power, these leaders chose to stone him to death.

Word spread of Stephen’s murder and many Christian believers fled Jerusalem, fearing for their own lives. As they relocated around the world, they also began to spread the gospel to new corners of the globe.

Through Stephen’s story, we see that God always has something greater at work. The key is to keep the faith, even when we can’t see His greater plan. As you think about that, remember these words: “Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.” Proverbs 19:21 (ESV)

This has been your B Moment.  Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
