This is our B moment. Our moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
Scripture reference: Matthew 11:28 (NLT)
Today I am reflecting on a day in the life of Christ. What I see is that no matter the circumstance, He is always there to lessen our load.
This particular day that I am studying occurs in Matthew 14. First, Jesus learns that John the Baptist has been killed. In John 11:11, Jesus said – “I assure you, of all who have ever lived, none is greater than John the Baptist.”
After learning of his death, Jesus just wanted to retreat to himself. He went off in a boat to a remote area to be alone. But as soon as he reached land, a vast crowd was there to greet him. Many of them needed healing, so he greeted them with compassion and began healing them.
Next, the disciples came to Jesus that evening about a hungry crowd. This is when Jesus fed 5,000 people with only 5 loaves of bread. Afterwards, Jesus sent everyone home. Once again, He returned to the hills to pray and rest.
Although, about 3 a.m., He came to the aid of the disciples because they were “fighting heavy waves” due to a strong wind. Jesus said to them – “It’s all right, I am here! Don’t be afraid.” (John 14:27)
So we see in this one day, that no matter the circumstance Jesus was always there to heal, provide for and to comfort. And, He did it all with compassion.
Which burden are you still carrying?
The Words that I will use to inspire me are – “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.” Matthew 11:28 (NLT)

Amen! Know who to go to when the load is too heavy and burdensome.

I needed this on this very morning! This was my prayer today, and I did exactly that, asked for strength and your B Moments is a reminder to “turn it over to Him!” Amen.
