Scripture reference: Isaiah 65:24 (ESV)

Have you ever felt the weight of your worries lift even as you pray? Recently, I faced a situation that required fervent prayer. One evening, as I poured my heart out to God, little did I know that He was already orchestrating the solution. This experience reaffirmed that when we align ourselves with God and seek Him wholeheartedly, we open ourselves to His divine intervention.
This experience also reminded me of how God responded to Abraham’s servant in a similar manner. Abraham sent his servant on a long journey to find a wife for his son Isaac, which he took seriously, even making the servant take an oath before his departure.
The servant worried that finding the ideal wife willing to travel so far from her homeland to marry Abraham’s son would be challenging. Despite his concerns, he faithfully set out on his journey.
One day during his trip, weary, fearful, and tired, with no sign of success in sight, he opened his mouth and prayed to God from the depths of his heart. While he was still on his knees praying, God answered.
Rebekah appeared, offering water for him and his camels, and she would ultimately become Isaac’s wife. This story illustrates how God is intimately involved in our lives and answers our prayers even before we realize it.
As you think about that, remember these words: “Before they call I will answer; while they are yet speaking I will hear.” Isaiah 65:24 (ESV)
