This is our B moment. Our moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
Scripture reference: Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV)
Today, I am thinking about how God has the smallest details of our lives in His hand.
I had this thought as I have just learned that, in the Old Testament, one way a person could become right with God was by sacrificing an animal. However, they didn’t just bring any animal to the altar. The animals were first chosen specifically because they couldn’t have any defects.
One very important defect that was taken into account was broken bones. So, they would get the finest animal they had–without broken bones or any other defects–and bring that animal to the altar.
Given that today is Holy Saturday, or the day before Easter, we can easily recall that Christ was crucified for us; he is the lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.
Now, watch this fine detail here. Of all of the ways that Christ’s body was beaten and battered and absolutely destroyed, there weren’t any broken bones in his body. Not one.
This is incredibly inspiring because God paid such attention to the tiniest detail of broken bones. It’s His perfect ways that have the same hand in our lives. He has it down to the finest detail.
He’s looking out after us and caring for us, and all we have to do is cling to these words, “Trust in the Lord with all thine heart…and He shall direct thy paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV)
Please share this reflection as others desire to be inspired.
So today, appreciate that God has the smallest detail of your life in His hand.

Love this! I’m such a details person. Having a reminder that God is just as thorough and on top of it as I am, is a blessing!
