This is our B moment. Our moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
Scripture reference: Isaiah 65:24 (ESV)

I am out of the studio today, but I am encouraging you that God will answer the prayers on your heart.
Recently there was a matter I needed to pray about as soon as I got home. On my drive home, I began to visualize myself pulling into my garage, walking into my house, and making a beeline for my prayer spot. I wanted to pray first before anything else distracted me.
What’s interesting is that about five minutes before reaching my house, my cell phone rang, and the entire situation that I wanted to pray about had been resolved. That little experience reminded me how God will answer the prayers on your heart before you even ask Him.
This is also what He did for Abraham’s servant, who was sent on a long journey to find a wife for Abraham’s son Isaac. Abraham took this assignment very seriously as he made the servant take an oath.
Shortly after taking that oath, Abraham’s servant feared that he might not be able to find the ideal wife for Isaac. The stakes were high for the servant, and he was afraid of failing. He began to pray fervently for God to help him with the assignment.
Yet the Scriptures reveal that while he was on his knees praying, a beautiful woman Rebekah came forward and offered water to the servant and his camels. It was then that the servant knew her kindness was God answering his prayers. The servant was still praying while God was in the process of answering.
Do you need comfort in knowing how adept God is at answering prayers? If so, remember these words: “Before they call I will answer; while they are yet speaking I will hear.” Isaiah 65:24 (ESV)
