This is our B moment. Our moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.

Today I am reminding you that God will simplify things just for you.
Let’s admit it: 2020 has been a year—and we’ve just hit the halfway mark! More than 120,000 U.S. lives have been lost due to the coronavirus, one in four Americans are out of work, and racial tensions remain high.
Even through such challenging times, God still wants you to know that, “All things work together for the good of those who love Him and who are called according to His purpose,” Romans 8:28. Sometimes, God will allow you to endure challenging times so that He can replace your way of doing things with His way.
This point reminds me of a recent conversation I had with a small businesswoman who teaches in-store classes. She would always try creative ways to drive traffic to her store, but her sales were only adequate.
When she recently had to close her doors for more than two months due to the pandemic, she thought that she might have to close her store permanently. As a last resort, she converted a couple of her classes to online classes, thinking she had nothing to lose.
She was simply blown away by the demand. While she remains quite busy, she is no longer starting and finishing her days overwhelmed and defeated. This is what’s possible when we surrender by embracing God’s way and releasing our own.
