This is our B moment. Our moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
Scripture reference: Psalm 32:8 (ESV)
Today, I am thinking about how God will remove us from certain situations for real transformation to happen in our lives.
In this series, I’ve been talking about those things we need to be mindful of when we’re birthing something great. We talked about the importance of being on the same page with God and the need to revisit our social circle. However, for real transformation to occur, God will sometimes remove us from a situation entirely.
When Elizabeth, who had been barren for years, learned that she was pregnant, she went into seclusion for five months. When her husband, Zechariah, didn’t believe that Elizabeth would become pregnant, God took him out of communication with all others. Consider even the caterpillar that will leave behind the comforts of its habitat when it ventures into an unknown territory to transform itself.
Sometimes before your great assignment, God will make you His assignment and will pull you out of certain situations and closer to Him. What situations are you in today that you feel God is pulling you out of? Don’t resist His pull; it is the next step to a higher level.
As you get into a quiet place with God, recall these words: “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.” Psalm 32:8 (ESV)
Please share this reflection as others desire to be inspired.
So today, don’t resist God’s pull; He’s lifting you to a higher place.
