This is our B moment. Our moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
Scripture reference: Philippians 2:13 (NIV)

Today, I am thinking about how God can use you exactly where you are.
Recently, we talked about how God is a god of second chances and about how He is more patient with us than we often are with ourselves. We used the passage about Jesus’ encounter with the Samaritan woman as an example.
In this passage, Jesus asked the woman to go and get her husband. Yet he already knew that the woman had been married five times and was currently living with a man who was not her husband.
This woman was so moved by the fact that Jesus knew about her past that she ran back to her town and told everyone to come and see the man who knew everything she had ever done. As a result, this woman, a Samaritan woman who had been married five times previously and who was currently living in sin, brought an entire town to Christ.
God used this woman exactly where she was on her walk. Even though she was flawed or perhaps in need of a do-over, this woman saved, through the grace of Christ, an entire town. In this way, it is clear that sometimes we can be so quick to see ourselves or others as unworthy that we forget that God can still use us to impact the lives of others.
Let us do away with seeing ourselves as flawed and instead see ourselves as being used by God. As you do so, remember these words: “…for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.” Philippians 2:13 (NIV)
Please share this reflection as others desire to be inspired.
So today, expect God to use you.
