A dear friend’s story has stayed with me for years, reminding me of God’s constant work in our lives. She had been intensely praying about a situation, feeling as though God was silent. Instead of staying home one day and being consumed by worry, she ran some errands. As she parked her car at the store, it began to snow lightly. Ninety minutes later, she returned to find her car covered in snow. In that quiet moment, she heard God whisper, “You see, I am still working.” She realized that just like the snow piling up unseen, God was working in her life, even when she couldn’t see it.

This profound revelation brought her immense peace, knowing that God’s presence and actions are continuous. Her little story is especially powerful during Advent when we anticipate God’s promises.

As you reflect on that, remember these words: “…My Father is always working, and so am I.” John 5:17

This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
