Transcription:
Whatever situation you may be grappling with today, God’s right in the middle of it with you.
This was surely the case for Shadrach, Meschach, and Abednego, who refused to worship the king’s gold image even after being told they would be thrown into the fiery furnace.
The king turned up the heat in the furnace seven times, and it was so hot that the man who escorted them to the furnace died.
When the king peeked inside, he saw not three but four bodies walking around in the furnace unharmed. Astonished at this, the king said, “Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who has sent His angel and delivered his servants.”
This is a perfect example of how God is at the center of your situation. As you think about that, remember these words:
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you…When you walk through the fire you shall not be burned…For I am the Lord your God…”. Isaiah 43:2-3 (ESV)
