Scripture reference: Isaiah 55:9

Sometimes, we look for a door to open or a situation to be resolved based on what seems like the “perfect condition” for something to happen. But if those conditions don’t align with God’s greater purpose and timing, they won’t happen.
Consider the time when the Jewish leaders deeply desired to arrest Jesus. One day, Jesus was in the treasury section of the temple. If there had been a time to arrest Him, it would have been then. But their plan didn’t coincide with God’s greater plan. Instead, Jesus was arrested in the darkness in a grove of olive trees, greeted by Roman soldiers with blazing torches and lanterns. Peter, an integral part of His inner circle, was with Him, as was His betrayer, Judas.
In Mark 14:49, we see that the arrest happening out in the open was part of God’s vivid, precise plan, filled with elements and meaning beyond our imagination. The same is true for you. When a door doesn’t open immediately, especially when the conditions seem ideal, keep your faith and stay your course because you can’t envision the vivid picture God is painting for you. He’s orchestrating things to unfold at the precise moment for you and in the most meaningful way.
As you think about that, remember these words: “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” Isaiah 55:9
