Scripture reference: Psalm 139:23-24

Transcription:

As we step into 2025, a year many say is filled with uncertainty, it’s essential to guard your heart. Proverbs 4:23 reminds us, “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”

Often, we become so preoccupied with external events that we lose touch with what’s happening within us. Your heart is the center of your inner life, your connection to God. It guides your thoughts, your words, your feelings, and, ultimately, your choices.

Don’t let ill feelings from 2024 linger and stain your heart. Release them into God’s hands and, like the psalmist, pray, “Create in me a clean heart, O God.” (Psalm 51:10)

Thriving in 2025 starts with tending to your inner life – the place where you’ll find the strength and clarity to face whatever comes your way.

As you reflect on that, remember these words: “Search me, O God, and know thy heart!…if there be any grievous way in me,…lead me in the way everlasting!”  Psalm 139:23-24

This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
