Scripture reference: Galatians 4:6
Transcription:
In the Old Testament (Exodus 34:34), Moses enters God’s presence, and the veil of separation is removed.
In 2 Corinthians, Paul inspires us that under the new covenant, when one turns to the Lord in faith, this veil of separation is removed for us, too.
Feelings of separation start in our hearts, and over time, our hearts can harden due to sin, guilt, and blindness of the Gospel, thus creating a veil.
This is why guarding your heart is so crucial; it is the center of your inner life. It is your orientation to God. Your heart guides your thoughts, your words, your feelings, and ultimately, your choices. Proverbs 4:23 teaches us, “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”
Here’s the good news: When we turn to the Lord in faith, any veil of separation is lifted, and “…where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom” (2 Cor. 3:17). We are now free of those things that entrap us…hold us back and that create the veil in the first place.
This freedom provides access to God’s loving presence, which transforms and renews us. So, guard your heart and let His spirit work within you to remove any barriers. This is the path to a heart aligned with His purpose, full of peace and joy.
As you think about that, remember these words: “And because we are his children, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, prompting us to call out, “Abba, Father.” Galatians 4:6
This has been your B Moment. Your moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.
