This is our B moment. Our moment to be still…to be fed by the Word of God…to be grateful.

Today I am encouraging you to do what’s right—even when it’s most difficult.
This is the choice Daniel made when faced with a very difficult, high stakes life decision. Daniel was an administrator in the king’s court and had recently been promoted. However, there were those who were jealous of Daniel’s success and plotted to have him removed. They knew that Daniel prayed to God daily, so they convinced the king to enforce a decree that said that no one was to petition any god or man for the next thirty days.
Daniel did not make a public outcry about the decree. Instead, he continued to worship God daily and trusted that God would direct the outcome of events. As we know, Daniel was thrown into the lion’s den for his actions, yet he came out unharmed as God sealed the lion’s mouth shut.
Are you in a situation today where you’re struggling to do what’s right because you’ve weighed all the consequences and the stakes are still very high? If so, tune into the Blues to Blessings YouTube channel where I discuss a recent example in our society where a few individuals were faced with a very difficult decision yet still chose to do what’s right. It was a modern-day, high-stakes situation that put their livelihood—and everything—on the line, but they did the right thing anyway.
Before you tune in, hold onto these words: “The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him, my heart trusts, and I am helped.” Psalm 28:7 (ESV)
