Scripture reference: Jeremiah 29:11

This week, I have been deeply reflecting on a decision I needed to make with B Moments. We genuinely share a few moments a few times a week to Be still…to Be fed the Word of God, and to Be grateful for all God has done and is doing in our lives. This part will not change.
However, a national conversation about two contrasting visions for America is happening right now — in the backdrop of our reflections that we cannot ignore, for it touches the very fabric of our lives and our faith.
Change is on the horizon; only God holds the key to the outcome. I often hear several comparisons and analogies made because I am in a relationship with people I love and respect on both sides of this vision. For example, I hear Vice President Kamala Harris being compared to Esther, insisting she was born for such a time as this. Similar claims echo about former President Donald Trump.
But let’s pause and reflect: “If a new day is dawning in America, haven’t you also been born for such a time as this?” Your presence in this era is not a coincidence but a divine orchestration.
While supporting your preferred candidate and vision for America is important, your role extends even beyond that. It calls for heightened awareness and active engagement with the times we live in.
As a follower of Christ, your first step is to draw closer to God, seeking a deeper understanding of His purpose for your life and how He intends to use you uniquely in this present moment.
You may even yearn for a greater sense of purpose, but you lack clarity and direction on how and where to begin. You may even fear that your chance to live the life you truly desire has passed.
But here’s the powerful truth: when you turn to God, confess your deepest desires, and believe in the marrow of your bones that He is listening to your every word, He will reveal how He has been preparing you for such a time as this. As Psalm 36:9 teaches, “For with you is the fountain of life; in your light do we see light.”
Future B Moments will delve deeper into your hopes and fears and remind you of how God is guiding your every step. I hope you will find value in these messages and that they will inspire you to live a life of purpose and faith.
So, will you rise to meet this moment? Will you trust God and step out in faith, knowing that you were born for such a time as this?
As you reflect on that, remember these words – “For I know the plans I have for you…plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11…
